This body of work establishes an analogue methodology for bending light, demonstrating how the physical properties of an intervening lens or filter fundamentally alter, fragment, and construct perceived reality.

Staged within uniform suburban landscapes, this series interrogates “othering” and societal prejudice. By placing masked figures in completely mundane domestic routines, the work exposes how quickly society projects suspicion and threat onto anyone who deviates from normative visual standards.
